Andy Walker predicts Rangers clash v Motherwell
Sky Sports’ Scottish football pundits Ian Crocker and Andy Walker have both offered predictions for the upcoming Rangers versus Motherwell clash at Ibrox on Wednesday night.
In their column on the Sky Sports website, both men agree on the outcome of the game but differ on who the key player will be.
Ian Crocker is going for a 2-1 win for the Gers, and his key man is James Tavernier, who he believes is “sometimes the best option to make things happen.”
Meanwhile, Walker is also going for a 2-1 win for Rangers, and his key man is Declan John, who recently join the Gers on a permanent deal from Cardiff and scored the opening goal in the recent 2-1 loss to Kilmarnock.
The game versus the Steelmen is the third between the sides this season, and will be the first that Graeme Murty has been manager for, as former Gers boss Perdo Caixinha was in charge for the previous two matches.
In the first meeting between the sides in the first game of the league season in August, two Graham Dorrans goals gave the Gers a 2-1 win at Fir Park.
Whilst in the Betfred Cup semi-final in October, two Louis Moult goals gave Motherwell a 2-0 win after a highly controversial game.
Rangers go into the match against Motherwell three points behind Aberdeen in the battle for second place in the Scottish Premiership.
In other Rangers news, the Gers have been linked with a move for West Brom’s Tyler Roberts
