Anthony Gordon sends Liverpool warning after confirmed Newcastle news

Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon took to social media to send a warning shot to Liverpool ahead of their League Cup final meeting.

The 23-year-old scored Newcastle’s second goal as Eddie Howe’s side eased to a 4-0 aggregate win over Premier League title-chasing Arsenal.

Newcastle are set for their second League Cup final in three years as they take on Liverpool on March 16th, in search of their first piece of silverware in the Howe era.

Several stars sent messages to the fans to commemorate reaching the final with a comprehensive win over Arsenal, including captain Bruno Guimaraes and Sven Botman.

Goals from Cody Gakpo, Mohamed Salah, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Virgil van Dijk secured a second-leg comeback win for Liverpool against Tottenham.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former PGMOL chief and ex-FIFA official Keith Hackett believes Van Dijk could have seen red for an incident with Richarlison earlier in the game.
