Arsenal supporters believe the “title race is done” after their shock 1-0 defeat against Newcastle United at St. James’ Park in the Premier League.
Mikel Arteta’s side have now gone three games in a row without a win in the league and trail Man City by five points before Pep Guardiola’s team play this weekend.
Alexander Isak scored game’s only goal on Saturday (2 November), with the Sweden international finding the back of the net in the 12th minute with a headed effort.
The Gunners have only managed to win half their opening 10 Premier League fixtures and have conceded 11 goals.
Arteta’s team have been pushing City for several seasons in the race for the title, with the Londoners slowly closing the gap.
Last season Arsenal were just two points behind City, with the title race going down to the final game of the season.
Arsenal now face Inter Milan on Wednesday (6 November) in the Champions League before playing against Chelsea in the Premier League next Sunday (10 November)
