Stoke midfielder Charlie Adam is the fifth most-likely player to become Gerrard’s first signing at Ibrox, according to the bookmakers.
Adam, 32, is due to leave the Bet365 Stadium in the summer when his contract expires and it looks as though he could be on his way back to Ibrox to reunite with his former Liverpool team-mate Gerrard.
The midfielder has made just 14 appearances in all competitions for Stoke this season as they battle tooth and nail to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
