‘Big problem’: West Ham plan to accept Crysencio Summerville offer
West Ham United are likely to be forced to cash in on Crysencio Summerville at the end of the season amid growing financial concerns at the London Stadium.
The Hammers have reported losses of £104million in the last year, and will have to sell players to balance the books, with the 24-year-old seen as a sellable asset.
Summerville gave away a penalty as Nuno Espirito Santo’s side drew 2-2 with Brentford, but eventually bested them to progress into the FA Cup after a dramatic shootout.
Former West Ham scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that the Netherlands international is high on the list of potential sales this summer.
Should the Hammers suffer relegation, their financial issues will only worsen, with big-name exits more than likely in a busy transfer window for West Ham.

Brown warned Football Insider last month that West Ham could accept offers for Summerville, despite his emergence as one of their best performers this season.
His displays are believed to have attracted interest from a number of Premier League rivals who are well-placed to pounce should the Hammers be forced into a sale.
“A lot of clubs will be interested in Summerville,” Brown told Football Insider.
“He was always one of those players who I thought would be in and out, show you a bit of quality and then fade away in the game, I didn’t know if he was consistent enough.
“But I have to give him credit, whether it’s been as a substitute or from the start, he’s done more for West Ham this season than most of their other players.
“He’s been their go-to player in recent weeks and has taken a bit of responsibility off of Bowen.
“The big problem, as we always say, is that when a player is performing above the level of his team, it always attracts interest from rival clubs.

“If West Ham get relegated, or if these financial issues prove to be a problem, they will probably be forced to sell him as one of their more valuable assets.
“If that’s the case, there will be no shortage of suitors for him and it wouldn’t surprise me if he was allowed to move on.”
Which other players could West Ham let go?
Summerville is not the only high-profile star who could be on his way out of the London Stadium ahead of what is set to be a dramatic summer in East London.
Major financial concerns combined with the looming threat of relegation has ramped up expectation that star players will leave, even those previously expected to stay.
Brown warned Football Insider last week that Jarrod Bowen could leave West Ham as he remains one of the most high-value players at the London Stadium.

While the 29-year-old is believed to be happy at West Ham and had no immediate plans to leave the club, ongoing turmoil behind the scenes could force him out.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side also remain 18th in the Premier League table, albeit on goal difference and just one point shy of Tottenham, but are very much at risk.
