‘Brentford eye Edin Terzic as Thomas Frank’s replacement’
Edin Terzic is emerging as a potential candidate to take over from Thomas Frank as manager of Brentford.
The Bees are of course looking for a new manager, following the Dane’s departure after seven years in charge of the club.
As was reported by Football Insider, Frank has replaced Ange Postecoglou as Tottenham manager, after the Australian was sacked following a 17th place finish in the Premier League this season.
There is growing speculation as to who could take over from the 51-year-old at the Gtech Community Stadium, with a new name now emerging.

Edin Terzic in managerial race
As has previously been reported by Football Insider, Brentford are considering Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna as a possible option to take charge of the Bees.
The former Man United coach still has a strong reputation, despite his side suffering an immediate relegation from the Premier League this season.
It is also understood that Brentford had interviewed Frank’s assistant Justin Cochrane about the role, but he has now also joined Spurs.
A new update from The Guardian has now stated that as well as McKenna, another option the Bees are considering for the job is Terzic.
Brentford owner Matthew Benham is apparently now due to look for an external candidate, despite talks also being held with the club’s set-piece coach, Keith Andrews.
As a result, Terzic – who has been out of work since leaving Borussia Dortmund last summer – is now said to be considered among the candidates for the role.
The 42-year-old’s only previous managerial experience has been with Borussia Dortmund, who he has managed over two seperate spells.
During that time, he guided them to the DFB Pokal title in 2021, and the Champions League final last year, where they ultimately lost out to Real Madrid.

Brentford manager facing big challenge
Football Insider Verdict
Whoever it is who takes over at the club, be that Terzic, McKenna or someone else they are not going to be taking on an easy task with the Bees.
Frank did an excellent job during his time at Brentford and made himself a hugely popular figure with players and fans alike.
That ensures that the new manager will have big shoes to fill at the Gtech Community Stadium, and will need to hit the ground running.
However, that may not be easy with a number of key players attracting interest from elsewhere, with Tottenham and Man United both racing to sign Bryan Mbeumo.
Even so, Terzic’s past experience of managing a club the size of Borussia Dortmund, and delivering some considerable success while he was there, could stand him in good stead for the role.
Indeed, going down the European route worked well for Brentford with Frank, and so they may be tempted to do that again here.
