Bukayo Saka and James Maddison react to Cole Palmer post after Chelsea win
Chelsea beat West Ham on Monday Night Football and Cole Palmer’s post match social media post drew a reaction from Bukayo Saka and James Maddison.
Palmer was substituted on the 90th minute, having seen his deflected shot off Aaron Wan-Bissaka seal a 2-1 win over their London rivals.
The Hammers took a surprise lead through Jarrod Bowen in the 42nd minute, in large part thanks to a Levi Colwill howler.
Chelsea would equalise through Pedro Neto in the 62nd minute, with the Portuguese winger coming off the bench to score his second league goal of the season.
Palmer was once again the Blues’ hero after Marc Cucurella found the former Man City man, who burst down the left and hit a powerful shot that deflected off Wan-Bissaka and past the hapless Alphonse Areola.
The win propelled Chelsea back into the top four, past City who were demolished by Arsenal 5-1.
Chelsea superstar Palmer draws the attention of England teammates Saka and Maddison
Posting on Instagram after the game the England international shared a series of photos of himself in action at Stamford Bridge.
Arsenal star Saka and Tottenham ace Maddison, both Three Lions teammates, liked the post along with current teammates such as striker Marc Guiu.
Tosin Adarabioyo, who had a vital defensive block in the second half against the Hammers, also commented on the post to say “My flippin brudda!”

It was vital that Enzo Maresca’s side got back to winning ways following their 3-1 defeat at struggling Man City a week ago.
With former Blues boss Graham Potter returning to Stamford Bridge in charge of West Ham the stakes were raised even further.
But in the wake of losses for Pep Guardiola’s champions and Newcastle this weekend the three points lifted Chelsea back into the fop four as they continue their push to return to the Champions League.
In other news, Joao Felix and Carney Chukwuemeka are set to re-join Chelsea in time for a trophy push.
