Campbell salutes ‘phenomenal’ Klopp after Liverpool dressing room reveal in last 24 hours
Kevin Campbell has heaped praise on “phenomenal” Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp after Ibrahima Konate’s dressing room reveal.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Arsenal and Everton striker said Klopp, 54, deserves credit for creating a “selfless, together and committed” squad at Anfield.
Speaking to club media (14 December), Konate revealed he is “loving” life on Merseyside and has settled into the dressing room well.

The summer signing drew particular attention to the character of his new teammates and said “we don’t have players with arrogance”.
His comments echo those made by fellow Liverpool defender Kostas Tsimikas last month.
When asked by Football Insider for his reaction to Konate’s comments, Campbell said: “Listen, Jurgen Klopp is phenomenal.
“He understands what it takes to build a team and a squad together.
“If you have egos and cliques it will never work. There will be in-fighting in the dressing room. When there is a split in the dressing room, you cannot win. You only win if you are together.
“Liverpool have proven over the last three seasons that they are up there with the best in the world. You only get that by being selfless.
“That group is together and committed and that is a reflection of the manager. You can see they enjoy playing for Klopp.
“Hearing Konate say that is testimony to the manager. Fair play to Klopp.”

Konate moved to Anfield from RB Leipzig in July.
He has made seven appearances across all competitions this season.
