3. VAR isn’t working
We want VAR to work. We’re not traditionalists who want to see the game ruled by humans who can make mistakes. VAR on paper is brilliant but in practise it just doesn’t work.
Son’s goal was ruled out for offside but the VAR evidence clearly showed he was level.
They ruled that inconclusive which means the original decision stuck, but that just makes VAR look stupid.
We don’t want it binned, we just want it refined, and we want VAR to be the casting vote if a decision is not clearcut.
