Carvalho urged to complete West Ham move after source’s reveal – pundit
Liverpool star Fabio Carvalho has been told to choose his next loan move destination carefully.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor has urged the Portugal midfielder to stay in the Premier League if he is to leave the Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
A number of early enquiries over a potential loan move have been made, with Premier League trio West Ham United, Brentford and Burnley among those interested.
However, Football Insider understands that Carvalho harbours concerns over whether he would earn regular minutes during a temporary stay at any of those clubs.
Carvalho has already been told that he will not be part of Jurgen Klopp’s first-team plans for the 2023-24 campaign, regardless of how pre-season goes.
With a potential move on the cards, Agbonlahor believes that Carvalho needs to stay in England.
“If I was Carvalho I would go to West Ham to get games under my belt,” He told football insider.
“When Fulham got promoted a couple of seasons ago and Carvalho decided to join Liverpool, it was never the right move as he was not going to get game time.
“But now he needs a loan in the Premier League to show that he is good enough to compete in the division.

“He shouldn’t leave the Premier League and go elsewhere.
“I think he’s a top player but he was never going to get the chance at Liverpool and I think Liverpool have got many players in the position that he likes to play in, so West Ham would be a good move.”
