By Matt Farr
Football Insider rates the Celtic players during their 4-0 win over Inverness in the Scottish Premiership on Wednesday.
Craig Gordon 6 – Very little to do. Pulled off a superb save to deny Polworth’s goal-bound volley.
Mikael Lustig 6 – Surged forward on the right. Not needed in the defensive third.
Dedryck Boyata 6 – Hardly called-upon, but didn’t put a foot wrong.
Erik Sviatchenko 6 – Nothing more than a leisurely stroll at the back once Celtic were in the ascendency.
Kieran Tierney 6 – Recovered the ball well. Excellent overlapping runs and delivery.
Nir Bitton 6 – A physical display from the midfielder, but not his best.
Scott Brown 7 – The driving force in midfield.
Scott Sinclair 8 – A touch of class to break the deadlock. The 27-year-old demonstrated superb skill and determination throughout.
Stuart Armstrong 7 – Wonderfully executed free-kick. Deserved a goal for his midfield efforts.
Gary Mackay-Steven 6 – An ok display, but Celtic favoured the opposite flank.
Moussa Dembele 8 – Impressive work-rate. His usual imposing presence, scoring yet another double.
Subs:
Callum McGregor 6 (for Mackay-Steven 69)
Liam Henderson 6 (for Brown 78)
