‘Hope Lawwell sees sense’ – Celtic fans are loving what Kieran Tierney did after winning title

Celtic fans on social media have lost the plot celebrating Kieran Tierney’s actions after the Hoops clinched the title with a 5-0 win over bitter rivals Rangers.

The 21-year-old went to the ‘Green Brigade’ section of the Hoops support and lead the section chanting with a megaphone, as revealed by the Hoops’s official Twitter account.

Unsurprisingly Hoops fans were delighted with Tierney’s celebration, with one exhaling that club chief executive Peter Lawwell gives Tierney as much money as he wants to stay with the club for the rest of his career.

Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter to Tierney’s celebration:

Tierney might have found it difficult to live up to his form of last season, but the player set the ball rolling for the Hoops when his pass set up Odsonne Edouard to open the scoring for the Hoops.

He is also firm favourite to be voted for as Scotland’s young player of the year for the third season in a row on Sunday night.

It wouldn’t be much of a surprise if Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers gave the player a rest until next month’s Scottish Cup Final against Motherwell, as he has played 52 times for the Bhoys this season and he can be afforded a break for the Hoops’ next few league games.
