Sources: Celtic agree two ‘huge’ signings amid £20m+ reveal
Celtic have agreed terms with Jota and Argentine defender Alexandro Bernabei as they finalise two big-money signings this week, Football Insider understands.
Bernabei, 21, has undergone a Hoops medical and has accepted a contract offer after they agreed a £3.75million fee with his club Lanus.
A Celtic source has told Football Insider that Jota has also agreed terms with the club and will put pen to paper on a multi-year contract.

The attacker, who was on loan from Benfica last term, will convert his move to a permanent deal in a deal worth £6.5million.
Both players should then be able to join Celtic’s pre-season training base in Austria as Ange Postecoglu’s plans for the new campaign go into overdrive.
The two deals, which the source explained are “huge” by the club’s standard, will take the Scottish champions’ spending for the summer window beyond the £20m mark.
They have already confirmed the permanent signings of centre-back Cameron Carter-Vickers from Tottenham and goalkeeper Ben Siegrist from Dundee United.
Carter-Vickers cost up to £10m including add-ons, while Siegrist signed a four-year contract after joining on a free transfer.
Bernabei, who was about to enter the final 12 months of his contract at Lanus, will provide competition at left-back for Greg Taylor next season.
Jota’s capabilities are well known to the Parkhead faithful after his hugely impressive loan campaign in 2021-22.

Operating as a wide forward, the Portugese scored 13 goals and provided 14 assists from 40 matches for Celtic.
The club are likely to have to sell before they sanction any more major signings.
