Nottingham Forest fans have taken to Twitter to welcome new signing Jason Cummings to the club.

The Scotland Under-21 international has put pen-to-paper on a three-year deal and he arrives for an undisclosed fee.

Forest announced the news on their official website and on their official Twitter account on Saturday morning.

The 21-year-old striker led Hibs’ promotion charge last term, scoring 19 goals in 31 Scottish Championship outings, as well as providing six assists.

He was also key in the club’s passage to the latter stages of the Scottish Cup, bagging four goals in five games.

The Scot made the step up into Hibernian’s first team in January 2014, and he went on to play 149 league and cup games for the club, which yielded 71 goals and 23 assists.

The front man has been capped eight times by Scotland Under-21s, and he has scored three goals.

Forest fans were delighted to welcome Cummings to their club, and one supporter even hailed him as the “Championship Totti”.
