Chelsea fans all say the same thing about Noni Madueke transfer news

Chelsea fans have reacted in unison in their reaction after a transfer update regarding winger Noni Madueke.

The winger has been sidelined since February after picking up a hamstring injury in Chelsea’s 3-0 defeat to Brighton.

However, Madueke has hinted that he is close to making his Chelsea return, just in time for the highly anticipated clash against his former club, Tottenham, on 3 April.

His absence couldn’t have come at a worse time, with several Chelsea attackers struggling for form, including Cole Palmer, Christopher Nkunku, and Jadon Sancho.

He’s often been selected as the starter for Enzo Maresca in the Premier League with 19 starts this season, but it seems as if his future may be in doubt after a transfer update.

Newcastle eye Noni Madueke and Bryan Mbeumo to strengthen attack

Alex Crook of talkSPORT has reported that Newcastle and Aston Villa are among the clubs “keeping an eye” on Madueke ahead of the summer transfer window.

He also stated that Madueke is one of several players “Chelsea may consider cashing in on to raise funds” for new signings this coming summer window.

The winger, who joined Chelsea from PSV in 2023, has netted eight goals in all competitions this season, seven of which have come in the Premier League.

Despite Jacob Murphy’s impressive performances this season, the Magpies appear keen to bring in reinforcements on the right-wing.

Football Insider has revealed that the Newcastle are also in the race to sign Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford, with the forward approaching the final year of his contract.

It now seems that Chelsea’s winger is also on their shortlist as they look to strengthen their attacking options.

Chelsea fans urge club to sell Noni Madueke after inconsistent displays

Chelsea fans have voiced their frustration over Madueke’s performances this season, despite club legend John Terry previously backing the young winger.

Although the 23-year-old has registered 12 goal contributions this term, many supporters remain unconvinced, with the latest transfer reports only fuelling calls for Chelsea to sell him.

One fan wrote, “Sell him! Very lazy. Following in the footsteps of [Joao] Felix” while another added, “Sell him, he’s too inconsistent.”
