N’Golo Kante 7 – He showed how much more attacking he has become since moving to Chelsea from Leicester and was involved in some positive spells of passing.
Marcos Alonso 7 – Was a constant threat on the left and found himself in space on numerous occasions. He delivered some great crosses, but his team-mates couldn’t convert.
Willian 7 – Great weighted pass to provide the assist for Fabregas’ goal and threatened the Sunderland defence all game with his frightening pace.
Diego Costa 7 – Delivered a battling display against the three Sunderland centre-backs and was a handful all game. Just missing a goal to add to his tenacious performance.
