Chelsea fans react on Twitter to Arsenal defeat
By Dominic Toner
Arsenal fans suffered a 2-1 defeat against Everton on Tuesday night – and Chelsea supporters were thrilled with the result on Twitter.
The Gunners had the opportunity to move above Chelsea to the top of the Premier League with a win, but suffered their first league defeat since the opening day of the season.
Alexis Sanchez set Arsenal on the road to three points with a deflected free-kick goal, but Everton defender Seamus Coleman equalised just before half-time with a composed header.
Ashley Williams then scored an 86th minute winner from a corner and the Toffees survived a late Arsenal attack to secure the three points at Goodison Park.
Chelsea remain three points above Arsenal as a result and could move six points clear at the top of the table if they beat Sunderland away on Wednesday.

Chelsea are currently on a nine-game winning run in the league since Antonio switched to a 3-4-3 formation after a 3-0 defeat to Arsenal in September.
The Gunners are considered as one of the main contenders for the league title this season and the Blues have emerged as frontrunners after a spectacular turn of form.
Chelsea came through a tight encounter with West Brom 1-0 in their last game and will expect a similar match against a resilient Sunderland.
David Moyes’ side are currently bottom of the league table, but have won their last two games and could move out of the relegation places with a win.
In the latest Chelsea news, Stan Collymore has slammed the club’s first teamer as a disgrace.
