Calum McFarlane’s update on Pedro Neto

Pedro Neto was among a number of Chelsea players who missed the 1-1 draw with Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday. Before the game, interim boss Calum McFarlane revealed that the ex-Wolves forward was suffering from a knock. However, after sitting out of the stalemate on Merseyside, Neto is expected to be available for the FA Cup final against Manchester City, with the update on him before the trip to Liverpool suggesting that his injury wasn’t serious.

Robert Sanchez could also be back as trio ruled out

Alejandro Garnacho was in the same boat as Neto for the trip to Liverpool, missing the Premier League draw with a knock. He could also be back available for the Wembley clash on Saturday. Robert Sanchez missed out with a head injury he suffered against Nottingham Forest and he should be in contention to return in between the sticks against Man City. Jesse Derry (head) and Estevao (thigh) are both confirmed to be out for the season, while Jamie Gittens (thigh) is also not expected to return just yet.
