Idrissa Gueye misses Manchester City draw
Everton were without Idrissa Gueye when they drew 3-3 with Manchester City at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Monday night. The experienced midfielder was a surprise omission in David Moyes‘ starting line-up. However, ahead of kick-off on Merseyside, Moyes announced that Gueye is suffering from a “slight injury”. It remains to be seen whether or not he’ll be available against Crystal Palace on Sunday, but there’s a good chance of him returning based on the update from Moyes.

And the rest of the squad?
Beto returned to the Everton starting line-up against Man City after missing the loss to West Ham with a concussion. He was substituted off and replaced by Thierno Barry after 48 minutes, in what could have been either a tactical change or a move by Moyes to ensure the striker stays fit. Either way, Barry staked his claim to stay in the starting XI at Selhurst Park on Sunday with his two goals against Man City. Away from those, Jarrad Branthwaite (hamstring) and Jack Grealish (foot) aren’t going to play again this season.
