Man City Injury News:
Etihad Campus Return Timelines & Team News for Brentford
Rodri continues to be sidelined
Pep Guardiola will be sweating over Rodri’s injury throughout the coming days after the midfielder missed Saturday’s 3-0 win over Brentford. Rodri has now missed three Premier League fixtures and an FA Cup semi-final with a groin injury he picked up last month. Guardiola admits that the 29-year-old “doesn’t feel completely comfortable” yet, which clearly played a role in the decision to leave him out of the win over Brentford at the Etihad. Right now, it’s unclear whether or not he’ll be fit to be involved against Crystal Palace on Wednesday night. But with each passing game that he doesn’t play, he’ll be losing his match fitness, and that doesn’t bode well for an FA Cup final at the weekend against Chelsea.
Kick-off: Wednesday 13 May, 20:00 BST

And the rest of the Man City squad?
While there’s worrying news about Rodri, the positive news is that there were no new injury issues that occurred in the win over Brentford. In fact, Ruben Dias is now back in the fold after a hamstring injury, with the Portuguese centre-back making Guardiola’s bench on Saturday. Although he didn’t get any game time, there’s a chance we’ll see Dias back in the starting line-up soon. Abdukodir Khusanov was left out of the squad at the weekend with a knock he suffered against Everton. He can probably be expected to return against Palace. Josko Gvardiol is the only player who isn’t close to returning just yet; however, the Croatian is back in training after suffering a fractured leg.
