Newcastle United injury news: Bruno Guimaraes latest

Newcastle United’s season continues to peter out into obscurity after a damaging 2-1 defeat at Crystal Palace on Sunday. It means that European football next season is looking well and truly in the balance, with there now being no room for error in a congested race.

Bruno Guimaraes has recently been spotted in training but didn’t face the Eagles, the Arsenal game at the end of April is still looking the most likely for his return. Fabian Schar is unlikely to be seen again until late May, while Emil Krafth is out for the rest of the season. There was some good news on the injury front against Oliver Glasner’s men, though, as both Lewis Miley and Sven Botman made the starting line-up for Eddie Howe’s men.
