Chelsea sensation Cole Palmer mocks Tottenham in new message

Chelsea star Cole Palmer has taken to social media to mock Tottenham after their 4-3 Premier League win on Sunday (December 8).

The 22-year-old scored two penalties, including a panenka, to help secure a massive come-back win for the visitors.

Former Chelsea player Dominic Solanke and Dejan Kulusevski gave Ange Postecoglou’s side a flying start, putting them 2-0 up within 11 minutes, capitalising on two slips by Marc Cucurella.

Jadon Sancho scored the first for Enzo Maresca’s side with a piercing shot before Palmer scored his first spot-kick just after the hour-mark to equalise.

Acting captain Enzo Fernandez then put the visitors ahead with a half-volley after some intricate play from Palmer.

The England international won the second penalty after Spurs midfielder Pape Sarr took him out, tricking Fraser Forster with a cheeky chip.

Heung-Min Son scored Spurs’ third in added time, but it was too little, too late, and Chelsea left the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with all three points.

Palmer has managed to carry his remarkable form from last season into this campaign, starting 15 of his 17 appearances across all competitions, scoring 11 goals, and providing six assists in 1350 minutes of action.

Chelsea closed the gap on Arne Slot’s Liverpool to four points after the Merseyside derby was postponed due to bad weather.

Palmer took to Instagram after the game to celebrate his performance and Chelsea’s win, simply captioning his post “Chippy” in reference to his “Chippy chips” meme.

Chelsea have won five consecutive games across all competitions as they travel to Kazakhstan for a Europa Conference League game with FC Astana on Thursday (December 12).
