Chelsea star Romelu Lukaku is ‘not bothered’ and ready to retire – expert
Frank McAvennie has suggested Romelu Lukaku will retire at the end of the season if he is not part of the plans at Chelsea.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former West Ham striker is worried Lukaku could “ruin his legacy” if his attitude doesn’t improve.
The 29-year-old is currently on loan at Inter Milan and is set to return to Stamford Bridge in the summer.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano (10 March), the striker wants to stay at Inter beyond the end of the season.
But, Football Insider revealed on Monday (20 March), that the Italian club are unlikely to re-sign the Belgium international as a result of his poor form.
Other European clubs are also said to have been put off my Lukaku’s downturn.
It is believed the Belgian is not part of Graham Potter’s plans at Chelsea moving forward as the Blues boss has “no faith” in his ability to solve the club’s problems in front of goal.
McAvennie suggested it could be the end of Lukaku’s playing career.
“It is awful seeing players not bothering anymore,” he told Football Insider.
“I think he will maybe just retire. I have got a wee feeling he might just retire at the end.

“He has had big, big moves. If he has not got that appetite that is going to get him into the first team then what is the point? Do not ruin your legacy by just sitting about.
“He has been one of the top players for many, many years. If he keeps moaning about things he could lose some of that.”
In other news, Chelsea fear Tottenham could now beat them to priority summer signing.
