Cody Gakpo was the scapegoat once again as Arne Slot’s Liverpool were stunned by a revitalised Wolves team at Molineux Stadium.

Despite an 83rd-minute equaliser from Mohamed Salah, pouncing on a mistake from Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, only for the crowd to go berserk following a late winner from Andre.

The result on Tuesday, 3 March, brought an end to the Reds’ four-game winning streak, putting Slot under severe pressure at Anfield, and delivering a huge blow to the team’s European hopes.

Football Insider understands that Liverpool plan to accept an offer for Gakpo, and the supporters are certainly ready for the Dutch winger to be moved on during the summer transfer window.
