Liverpool vs PSG is another must-win for Arne Slot

It looks increasingly like there will be a change in the Anfield dugout next season, and really the only thing that might save Slot now is winning the Champions League. Such a scenario appears unlikely, though, given the Reds lost the first leg of their quarter-final tie with PSG 2-0 at the Parc des Princes last week. It was an utterly dominant performance by the Ligue 1 giants, too, as they bossed 74 per cent of possession, while the Reds failed to muster a single shot on target. Anfield has hosted more than its fair share of memorable European nights in the past, of course, but there has been little evidence to suggest they can turn this one around. Stranger things have happened, but Slot really does need an Anfield miracle.
