Friend of Celtic star reveals he is dating TV host after splitting from wife

Goalkeeper Craig Gordon is dating former Celtic TV host Summer Harl after his eight-year marriage came to an end, according to the player’s friend.
The Celtic and Scotland ‘keeper was spotted in Edinburgh with the 28-year-old before his side’s 2-2 draw with Hibs last weekend.
Harl presented Celtic TV for three years before leaving earlier this year to take up a new job elsewhere.
One of Gordon’s friend’s was quoted by the Scottish Sun as revealing the relationship: “It is early days with Summer but they are clearly committed to one another.
“They really enjoy spending time together and doing simple things like going out for dinner, walking the dog and watching sports.”
34-year-old Celtic star Gordon was forced to go public on the relationship after being seen with his arm around the TV host and confirmed his marriage to wife of eight years, Jennifer, had ended.
“Sadly, my marriage broke down a while ago,” Gordon said, as quoted by the Scottish Sun website.
“These things are never easy but I’m focused on jointly bringing up my two wonderful daughters who mean the world to me.
“My priority is to protect them and ensure they get the love and support they need.”
Gordon’s daughters are aged four and seven.
The goalkeeper almost hung his gloves up after missing two years of first-team football through injury before signing for the Hoops and breathing new life into his career.
Gordon has since gone on to re-establish himself as Scotland’s number one and was reportedly targeted by Chelsea in a £5million move last winter.
Former Hearts and Sunderland keeper Gordon is currently with the Scotland squad preparing for their final World Cup qualifiers against Slovakia and Slovenia as they look the make their first major tournament in 20 years.
