Tottenham academy product Walker-Peters has been a regular member of the Spurs side through pre-season and even replaced Trippier against Juventus.
The 20-year-old, who has 10 England Under-20 caps and was part of the side that won the World Cup this summer, is the best up-and-coming right-back in the Spurs second string.
He could be handed his debut against Newcastle on Sunday, if Pochettino believes he is ready to face the country’s best.
