Declan Rice sends message after ‘shocking’ Arsenal performance, new stats revealed
Declan Rice remained upbeat in a message for Arsenal fans despite an unconvincing display in their win over Fulham.
Arsenal came away with all three points on 1 April against Fulham thanks to goals from Mikel Merino and a returning Bukayo Saka.
However, the win came at a cost, as Gabriel Magalhaes may have suffered a season-ending injury as he pulled up early in the game, clutching his hamstring.
Meanwhile, Rice had a shocking performance for Arsenal, picking up a yellow card while winning just two ground duels and managing only one successful tackle. His performance fell short of his usual standards, drawing criticism.
Still, as club football resumed following the international break, the midfielder shared a message with supporters, looking ahead to the challenges to come.

Arsenal fans question Declan Rice amid inconsistent season
Rice shared a message on his Instagram story alongside a picture from the match, simply saying: “Good to be back out there.”

It’s been a mixed campaign for the £105 million midfielder, whose role has shifted from a traditional defensive midfielder to a more advanced central position under Arteta.
Despite his versatility, some Arsenal fans have been critical of Rice’s performances, arguing that he has yet to replicate the dominant displays that made him such a standout last season.
Arsenal supporters have also taken issue with Rice off-the-pitch, notably when he publicly criticised players after the 1-1 draw with Manchester United in March.
Regardless of the scrutiny, Arteta has placed full trust in Rice, with the midfielder making 41 appearances so far this season, contributing five goals and eight assists.
Arsenal eye Nico Williams and Matheus Cunha in summer rebuild

With Liverpool looking likely to clinch the Premier League title, the Gunners have already started planning their summer transfer window.
Football Insider revealed that the Arsenal are reigniting their interest in Wolves forward Matheus Cunha after initial discussions in January.
Meanwhile, former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown has also revealed that Arsenal are leading the race to sign Athletic Club’s Nico Williams as they look to strengthen their attacking options.
With attacking reinforcements a clear priority, and Rice still adjusting to his evolving role, Arsenal will hope that a stronger squad next season will see them challenge once again.
