Done deal: Attacker in form of his life agrees terms for Celtic switch

Celtic have officially announced the signing of Lewis Morgan from St Mirren however the dazzling attacker will be sent back on loan to Paisley for the rest of the campaign.
The four-and-a-half-year deal was confirmed on the club’s official Twitter account on Friday afternoon..

As part of the terms of the deal Morgan will return to St Mirren for the rest of the season as he attempts to help them return to the Scottish Premiership.
Morgan is in the form of his life at the moment and has had a fine season with the Championship league leaders, scoring 13 goals in 26 games, a record of one goal every two games.
The player had been linked with a move to the Scottish champions for a few weeks, and he becomes the second signing of the January transfer window after veteran centre-half Marvin Compper was signed from Leipzig.
Football Insider verdict
Morgan is one of the hottest prospects in Scottish football, and the move seems like a good bit of business by Brendan Rodgers. The move of letting the 21-year-old spend the rest of the season at St Mirren seems like a smart one, as he can do more for his game playing every week rather than spending time on the Celtic bench struggling to get into the first-team. The player will need to hit the ground running at Celtic if he wants to be involved in the Champions League qualifiers at the start of the season, but Brendan Rodgers must have a lot of faith in the player if he brought him to the club.
