Eberechi Eze reacts as Gabriel takes swipe at Richarlison after Arsenal win vs Tottenham
Arsenal hero Eberechi Eze has reacted to a message sent by his teammate Gabriel after Sunday’s North London Derby.
The attacking midfielder netted the first-ever Premier League hat-trick in the bitter North London clash, as Mikel Arteta’s side ran out 4-1 winners over Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium.
Eze stole the show for Arsenal in what was the defining game of his spell with the Gunners so far.
The England international attracted plenty of interest in the summer, not least from Tottenham, who were linked with him for several weeks, but Arteta and Co. will now be more delighted than ever to have won the race for him.
Gabriel has hit the headlines in the aftermath of the game by taking a cheeky swipe at Richarlison, and his teammate Eze was quick to weigh in and show his support.

Eze reacts as Gabriel tags Richarlison in Instagram post
Gabriel missed the North London Derby for Arsenal this weekend after he returned from the recent international break with an injury.
The centre-back was substituted midway through the second half during Brazil’s 2-0 friendly victory over Senegal, and is facing a spell on the sidelines in the coming weeks.
However, the 27-year-old’s inability to help his teammates on the pitch didn’t stop him from getting involved in the success that Arsenal enjoyed against their rivals.
Gabriel posted a picture to his Instagram account after the game, which featured him sitting inside the home dressing room, wearing Eze’s number 10 shirt, and holding the match ball and his Premier League Player of the Month trophy.
Notably, the defender tagged Spurs star Richarlison in the post, as a response to his international teammate’s cheeky post after his side’s victory in the pre-season edition of the derby.
Eze wasted no time in sharing his support for his teammate, as he commented: “You are the best” underneath the post, followed by a series of crying laughter emojis.
Gabriel injury opens the door for Piero Hincapie at Arsenal
Eze was undoubtedly the biggest winner for Arsenal in their derby day victory, but it was also a hugely positive afternoon for Piero Hincapie.
The £45million summer arrival has had to bide his time to get his chance so far this term, but he seized that opportunity with both his hands on his first Premier League start this weekend.
It was a composed and assured display from the Ecuadorian, who must surely now be eyeing a sustained run in the starting XI with Gabriel facing an injury lay-off.
The former Bayer Leverkusen defender was another star who was linked with both Arsenal and Tottenham over the summer, and the quality of his display will only have added to the pain for Thomas Frank and his team on Sunday.
