Ethan Nwaneri has responded in the wake of a confirmed move from Arsenal to Man United during the January transfer window went through.

Ayden Heaven has completed a move to Old Trafford after the two players came through the youth ranks with the Gunners in recent years, with Nwaneri starting to make himself a regular and important feature in the first-team.

Hayden meanwhile, made just a single senior appearance for Mikel Arteta’s side, in a 3-0 win over Preston in the Carabao Cup earlier this season.

He has now moved on from Arsenal, although it seems Nwaneri is still keen to show his support to his now former teammate.

Football Insider Verdict

This is a big opportunity that Heaven has been given with his move to Man United that has now been completed.

Heaven has not been a regular feature in the matchday squad with Arsenal at senior level, but it looks as though that will now be the case for him in Amorim’s side.

That will give him the chance to prove himself even from a very early stage of his career at a big club that will have considerable ambitions throughout his time at the club.

Given they have been working together for several years, Nwaneri is understandably still keen to see his former Arsenal teammate succeed, although that will not be the case if do go up against each other.

With Chido Obi-Martin also swapped the Gunners for Man United this season, this type of deal is becoming something of a trend for the Red Devils at this level.

In other news. Arsenal are concerned that a transfer target could end up playing for Man City.
