Everton news: Expert issues three-word verdict on ‘£50m’ Richarlison move
Noel Whelan has insisted Everton should “get it done” if Paris Saint-Germain meet their asking price in a deal for Richarlison this summer.
The former Leeds striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed a potential £50million fee could land the Toffees “four new faces” in the summer window.
According to 90min (29 May), PSG are ready to make their move for Everton forward Richarlison, 25, with the Merseysiders needing to sell in order to ease Financial Fair Play concerns.

Football Insider revealed last month (2 May) that the Toffees will accept an offer of over £50m for Richarlison and are increasingly confident that fee can now be secured.
Premier League giants Chelsea, Tottenham, and Arsenal have also been credited with an interest in the Brazil international.
Whelan urged Everton to “get it done” if a suitable offer materialises.
“It’s a no-brainer for me if there is interest in Richarlison,” he told Football Insider‘s Ewan Kingsbury.
“He drives me crazy. The antics that follow him on the pitch just completely overshadow what a great player he can be.
“If you can get a big chunk of money, £50million – then get it done.
“He’s not going to sign a new deal. It’s a way of giving Lampard the money he needs to bring in maybe four new faces this summer.
“Look, it might not just be Richarlison. We’ve seen Calvert-Lewin linked with moves as well. I think they may well have to sacrifice both players to do any business this summer.”

As quoted by the Daily Mail (30 May), Richarlison confirmed that he has informed Everton of his intentions.
The striker, who netted 10 league goals this term, is out of contract in June 2024.
