Everton news: Pundit slams Richarlison over ‘strange’ comments – ‘have a bit of respect’
Richarlison must clarify the “disrespectful” comments he has made about his Everton future.
That’s according to former West Ham hitman Frank McAvennie, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the attacker’s latest claims.
Football Insider reported earlier this year (17 April) that the 25-year-old has told his agent to find him a new club this summer.

Now, a quoted by the Daily Mail on Monday (30 May) while on international duty with Brazil, Richarlison revealed he had told Frank Lampard and the Everton board what he wants to do this summer.
McAvennie suggests this development means he will be leaving Goodison Park this summer.
“It’s a strange one, isn’t it?” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“If you aren’t going to tell anyone then why do all this cryptic stuff? Why say anything about it?
“It sounds like he is hard to please, ‘I’ve told Frank Lampard what I want’. That’s the manager, have a bit of respect for the guy.
“He’s the gaffer, you don’t have to like him. With that statement, I think he might be gone. It gets broken up because he’s speaking a different language as well.
“It might be noting, it might be disrespectful. The wording of that statement.
“He’s a talent and Frank will want to keep him. If he’s alright, I would keep him because he is a top talent.”

Richarlison scored 10 goals in 30 league games during the 2021-22 season.
He has been at the club since the summer of 2018, when he signed from Watford.
In other news, an Everton senior man is in advanced talks to join a new club.
