Exclusive: Man City and Man United submit offers for Tottenham sensation

Man City and Man United have made offers to Tottenham sensation Mikey Moore, sources have told Football Insider.

Moore, 16, has received professional contract offers from multiple top clubs ahead of his 17th birthday next month as the race for his signature hots up.

As revealed by Football Insider, Borussia Dortmund are also pushing hard to lure the winger, who they regard as a “huge” talent.

The 2024 Champions League finalists have submitted a “massive” offer to Moore as they try to make him the latest young English player to be lured to Germany.

Tottenham are also pulling out all the stops to prevent Moore from switching clubs, but FA regulations state he cannot sign a professional deal until he turns 17.

Moore joined Tottenham’s academy aged eight and has now become a regular fixture of both the under-18s and under-21s sides at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Last season, he scored 14 goals and provided eight assists in just 12 games for the under-18s, stamping his authority as one of the brightest young talents in the country.

He also has two senior appearances to his name despite his tender age, becoming the club’s youngest-ever Premier League player.

Ange Postecoglou is said to be keen to have Moore involved with the first team, such is the level of talent the youngster has shown.

He has also represented England at under-15, under-16 and under-17 levels.

Earlier this summer, the winger wowed Spurs fans with footage of his performance in England under-17s’ clash with Spain as they tipped him to make it “to the very top”.
