Expert: Tottenham could sign Marcus Thuram for £2million in January after source’s reveal
Tottenham could sign Marcus Thuram for as little as £2million in January.
That is according to Spurs expert John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
On 22 November, sources told Football Insider that Newcastle United are willing to pay £10million to sign Borussia Monchengladbach star Thuram in January.

Thuram, 25, is free to talk to clubs outside Germany from January and could sign a pre-contract with an English club ahead of joining on a free.
The France international is part of the squad for this month’s World Cup after netting 13 goals in 17 appearances for the Bundesliga side this season.
Wenham insists Tottenham should be front of the queue for the attacker.
“I read something this week that he could come for as little as £6million,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“That is absolutely nothing for a guy who is scoring goals for fun and looks to be the real deal. These are the kinds of deals we should be doing.
“We should agree a pre-contract deal with him then offer Monchengladbach something like £2million to make the deal happen in January.
“That’s more than they are going to get at the end of the season. Also, do they want a player who has his mind elsewhere for the second half of the season?

“I wouldn’t. This is a deal I think we should be doing and it’s realistic.
“If Conte wants him, get him.”
In other news, one expert has been left baffled by Tottenham fans after a ‘surprise’ Rodrigo Bentancur development.
