Gary Lineker issues brilliant putdown of Piers Morgan after he is pictured wearing a Tottenham shirt

Gary Lineker has issued a brilliant putdown of Piers Morgan by stating that “Arsenal can keep him” after he is seen wearing a Tottenham shirt.
The Good Morning Britain presenter made a vow on his personal Twitter account that he would wear the Spurs shirt if £50,000 was raised for charity.
That target was met and former Tottenham chairman Lord Sugar posted a picture of Morgan wearing the shirt of his bitter rivals.
Unsurprisingly, that got a big reaction from supporters, ex-players and current players, including England striker Harry Kane.
Match of the Day presenter Lineker issued this brilliant putdown of Morgan when the picture of him wearing the Spurs shirt first appeared on social media.
“He’s one of our own,” Lineker wrote on his personal Twitter account. “Actually, Arsenal can keep him.”
Broadcaster Morgan is very outspoken on social media, whether he is talking about Arsenal or Tottenham.
He regularly taunts Lord Sugar when Spurs finish below their north London rivals in the Premier League table, but he is equally critical about his own club.
At this moment in time, Mauricio Pochettino’s side are nine points ahead of sixth-placed Arsenal who suffered a 3-1 defeat at West Brom prior to the international break.
The Gunners face a home clash against Manchester City on April 2, with Spurs taking on Burnley the day before.
Both will meet on April 30 at White Hart Lane in what could prove to be a pivotal game in the race to finish in the Champions League places.
In other Tottenham news, the club knew of a meeting between this key man and La Liga giants.
