Graham Roberts delivers Tottenham verdict after Stoke win

Graham Roberts believes that Tottenham are in a great position following their victory over Stoke on Sunday.
Spurs eased to a 4-0 home win in the Premier League and moved up to second in the table, but are 10 points behind leaders Chelsea.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side produced an inspired first-half performance as Harry Kane (3) and Dele Alli got on the scoresheet.
Ex-Spurs player Roberts believes that his former side are in a brilliant position after picking up the three points against Stoke.
The north London club only have Arsenal and Manchester United left to play out of their top six rivals this season, with both games at White Hart Lane.
“Being in 2nd after playing all top teams away very impressive again and have had a lot of injuries team doing very well,” Roberts wrote on his personal Twitter account.
Spurs are in a tough battle to finish inside the top four this campaign and obtain a Champions League spot, but are firmly in the driving seat to do so.
Pochettino’s side managed to bounce back against Stoke following their disappointing Europa League exit, as they were eliminated by Belgian side Gent in mid-week.
They still have the FA Cup quarter-finals to compete in, but the Premier League will now be a priority for Spurs.
The Londoners face Everton at home in their next match and will be looking to maintain their top four position.
