
Harry Maguire posts ‘all eyes on’ message for Rangers after Man United shock
Man United defender Harry Maguire has posted a training ground update on social media ahead of their match against Rangers.
Maguire and his team-mates will be looking to get their season back on track, after the shocking news that manager Ruben Amorim smashed a TV [The Guardian] after their 3-1 loss to Brighton (19 January).
The former Leicester centre-back, called on his team-mates to take responsibility after saying “we’ve got to stop looking for excuses.” [The Mirror]
The Red Devils will be looking to make up for their mistakes against Brighton, that included a howler from Andre Onana, in their Europa League match-up with Scottish giants, Rangers.
Ruben Amorim reliant on Maguire since joining Man United
It was expected that United would take time to adjust to Amorim’s tactical style upon his arrival, but United’s form has nosedived.
Wins against Man City in the Premier League (15 December) , and against Arsenal in the FA Cup (12 January), were a positive surprise, but against teams with smaller budgets, United have been awful.
However, amidst their struggles, Maguire has established himself as a player that Amorim can rely on.
The Englishman has faced merciless criticism during his time at the club, and was stripped of the captaincy [GOAL] by former manager Erik ten Hag.
Maguire has got his United career back on track and is one of the first names on Amorim’s teamsheets, the England international posted a training ground update on his Instagram story ahead of their match on Thursday (23 January).

Maguire may be getting a new partner in defence, as Man United attempt to agree a deal for Patrick Dorgu.
