Harry Winks tipped to seal Tottenham exit amid £5m claim – Hutton
Alan Hutton has claimed Harry Winks will have a lot of interest from Premier League clubs if Tottenham reduce his asking price by £5million.
The former Spurs defender, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, insisted the 26-year-old’s ability is not in question despite his Lilywhites spell going “a bit stagnant” in recent seasons.
As revealed by Football Insider on Monday (30 May), Spurs are willing to listen to offers for Winks this summer and are looking for a fee in the region of £20million.

Winks made 19 Premier League appearances for Spurs during the 2021-22 season – only nine of which came from the start.
The 10-cap England midfielder is contracted until June 2024.
Hutton claimed £15million would represent much better value for money as the Spurs academy product heads for “pastures new”.
“I think £20million is a half-decent price for Harry Winks,” he told Football Insider‘s Russell Edge.
“He’s another one who has just been left behind at Spurs. Bentancur, Hojbjerg, and Skipp are all now in front of him.
“But he has shown within the season that he’s capable. He was an England international not too long ago, so he’s obviously got ability.
“I just think it’s gone a bit stagnant at Tottenham. It’s time for him to move on to pastures new.
“If you can offer him around for £15m, I think other Premier League teams will see a lot of value in that.”

Winks has made 203 total appearances for Tottenham, scoring five goals.
He made his senior debut in November 2014 after coming through the club’s academy system.
