Harvey Elliott: ‘Premier League rivals race to agree deal with Liverpool’
Harvey Elliott is attracting interest from a number of Premier League clubs as he could be set to leave Liverpool this summer.
That is according to former Man United and Blackburn chief scout Mick Brown, who remains very well-connected within the game, as he exclusively told Football Insider that clubs are keeping a close eye on his situation with a move in mind.
The England Under-21 international has started just four games across all competitions this season, leading to speculation about his long-term future.
Football Insider revealed on 21 March that Elliott, 22, has been disappointed with his playing time since Arne Slot arrived and would be open to a move away.
However, the Reds are keen to keep him at the club beyond the end of the season as they have high hopes for his future while he remains a part of Slot’s plans.
As a result, Liverpool will demand £50million for Elliott this summer, with Newcastle among the teams weighing up a move for the midfielder this summer.

Harvey Elliott could quit Liverpool as bids lined up
Brown told Football Insider on 3 March that Elliott could look to leave Liverpool in search of increased playing time as he has grown frustrated under Slot’s management.
Now, the former scout who has a wealth of experience in top-level player recruitment after over a decade at Man United during their most successful period, has insisted there will be no shortage of interest in the midfielder this summer.
“It wouldn’t surprise me if he looks to leave Liverpool this summer,” he told Football Insider.
“There are a number of clubs in the Premier League and abroad who want to sign him.
“He’s a better player than a lot of people give him credit for, and when he comes on as a sub he always produces quality moments.
“It’s difficult to understand why he hasn’t been playing at Liverpool.
“Maybe he doesn’t get on particularly well with the manager, maybe he’s just not the right fit for their system, but he’s a very talented player.
“I expect clubs will be queuing up for him if he does become available.
“He’s the type of player who would add something to most teams in the country.”

Darwin Nunez has played his last game under Arne Slot
Another player who has been widely tipped to leave Liverpool this summer is Darwin Nunez amid seemingly constant speculation about his future.
Brown told Football Insider on 21 April that Nunez has played his last game for Liverpool and the decision has already been made to let him leave.
The forward has been unhappy since Liverpool rejected a big offer from Al-Hilal in January, while Slot has been less than impressed by his performances.
This comes after Football Insider revealed in March that Nunez is first in line to leave Liverpool this summer and could push for an immediate move away.
