‘I talked to an agent’ – Tino Livramento: Man City ‘nailed on’ to sign Newcastle star
Manchester City are closing in on the signing of Newcastle defender Tino Livramento ahead of a summer move.
That is according to ex-Everton, Aston Villa, and Aberdeen chief executive Keith Wyness, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, who believes Livramento will be joining Man City.
Pep Guardiola’s side have been linked with a move for Livramento amid midfielder Matheus Nunes having had to fill in at right-back this season.
Right-back is a position Man City want to strengthen in the summer transfer window, with Livramento having been identified as a top target.

Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – has spoke to an agent and has been told that Livramento will be a Man City player next season.
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast, Wyness believes an agreement between Man City and Newcastle could be reached at £70million.
He told Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast: “Yes, very much so. I think that’s pretty much nailed on as far as I’m aware.
“I heard from somebody the other day. I talked to an agent who said that it’s going to be happening. They did expect that sort of big number around the £70m mark, which is a big number, as we say, breaking the record.
“But I think he’s the right one for City. I think he’s a talented player, and it helps Newcastle fill the coffers.”

Man City targeting former academy star
Sources have told Football Insider that Man City are interested in re-signing Felix Nmecha from Borussia Dortmund.
Nmecha came through the academy at Man City, with the midfielder making just three senior appearances for the club under Guardiola.
The 25-year-old could be a cheaper option for Man City to add to their midfield ranks, with Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson a more expensive alternative.
