Insider verdict on two ‘incredible’ Spurs kids starting against Vitesse after latest
Dilan Markanday and Dane Scarlett will be given a chance to impress for Tottenham in Europe.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Markanday, 20, and Scarlett, 17, are on the periphery of the first team at Tottenham and are both highly rated by Wenham.

Scarlett has featured in the Conference League this season while Markanday is yet to make his senior debut.
The forwards have also been in fine form for the club’s youth sides.
Markanday has especially impressed, bagging six goals in seven Premier League 2 outings.
Wenham claims the duo will be given first-team minutes in Europe but warned they may not be trusted against Vitesse on Thursday.
“I’ve said these names a few times,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“I want Dane Scarlett and Dilan Markanday to be given a chance in the UEFA Conference League.
“The problem I think those incredible younger players will have is that Tottenham will go strong on Thursday.
“In theory, this is Tottenham’s last hard group game before we have Rennes and Vitesse at home and Mura away.
“If we win on Thursday we are essentially through and then the opportunities will arise for those players to be given a chance.

“I would still like to see them on Thursday because we should be beating Vitesse and we have a tough game against West Ham a few days later.
“Markanday is the big one but they have both made some outstanding progress with the Under 23s.”
