Insider: Tottenham well placed to sign ‘complete number 10’ Maddison in ‘£45m’ deal
Tottenham should sign James Maddison from Leicester City to fix their creativity problem.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
According to the Independent, Nuno Espirito Santo rejected the notion Tottenham have a creativity problem after losing to West Ham on Sunday.

On Saturday, Maddison scored the winner as Leicester beat Brentford 2-1, his first goal since February.
Football Insider understands Leicester value Maddison at £70million and turned down several approaches from Arsenal in the summer.
Wenham claims Maddison will improve the players around him and predicted the player would be open to the move.
“We don’t create anything because we don’t have a focal number 10,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“It gets me thinking about who we could sign. We need somebody with that Premier League experience.
“There is one player, people will roll their eyes, but James Maddison is the complete number 10.
“He comes at a premium, you would overpay for him as he’s English and homegrown.
“He is one I would be asking the question of. If you look at someone we could actually get, I think we can get him.
“He’s Premier League ready and fit. If we signed him on the Wednesday he could start on the Saturday and he would give you a seven out of 10.
“The only issue I think he supports Arsenal. But if you look through the Premier League at players we could actually get, he’s one that ticks a lot of boxes.

“He’s not worth £60million, he’s worth more like £45million.
“I do think he would make our other players better.”
