Jarrod Bowen: Newcastle ready move after West Ham release clause news – sources
West Ham value Jarrod Bowen upwards of £100million and have no plans to sell this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
The England international signed a seven-year contract with the Hammers last year, and sources have revealed there is no release clause in the deal.
Bowen, 27, has attracted huge interest from Newcastle United, who have him high on their shortlist of transfer targets this summer.
A right-winger is a priority position for Eddie Howe’s side, after Football Insider revealed that Bowen, Leeds United star Crysencio Summerville are among those on their shortlist.
West Ham make Jarrod Bowen demand after release clause twist
Bowen joined West Ham from Hull City in 2019 in a deal worth £25million including add-ons and has gone on to make 202 appearances for the club.
During that time, he has scored 60 goals and provided 39 assists, including scoring the winner as they lifted the Europa Conference League in 2023.
The winger is thought to be settled and happy at West Ham, with no desire to search for a move at this time, while the club will refuse any offer from Newcastle.
After signing a seven-year contract last season, Bowen has committed his long-term future to the club where he has become one of the most important players.
Interest from the Magpies comes following a season in which the forward scored 16 goals in the Premier League, rising to 20 in all competitions.

Football Insider also revealed that the Magpies have a £100million war chest to spend on incoming deals this summer after making early sales.
Yankuba Minteh and Elliot Anderson were sold for a combined £65million on 30 June, allowing the Magpies room around financial rules to spend big this summer.
