Jeremie Frimpong’s agent posts two-word Liverpool transfer hint in new message
Liverpool continue to be linked with Jeremie Frimpong and the speculation has only intensified following a cryptic social media post from his agent.
With Trent Alexander-Arnold confirmed to be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season, the Reds are expected to prioritise signing a new right-back this summer.
The England international’s contract expires this summer, and Real Madrid are pushing for him to join in June as they prepare for the Club World Cup.
That urgency may accelerate Liverpool’s search for a replacement, and one name that keeps surfacing is Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong.
Liverpool fans have already called for the club to move for Frimpong after reports emerged suggesting he would be open to a switch to Anfield.
Now, the latest post from Frimpong’s agent has only fuelled the rumours further about a potential deal in the works.

Jeremie Frimpong’s agent drops cryptic message amid Liverpool interest
Frimpong’s agent, Jeffrey Lemmert, sparked fresh speculation after posting a cryptic message on his Instagram story that read: “We working.”

He interestingly set his location to Manchester, which has added another layer of intrigue to the situation. While it raised questions about potential talks with either Manchester club, it’s worth noting that Liverpool’s owners, Fenway Sports Group, also have an office in Greater Manchester, also suggesting a possible visit on the Reds’ behalf.
Meanwhile, Football Insider revealed that Liverpool were monitoring Frimpong as a possible replacement for Alexander-Arnold back in March.
The Bayer Leverkusen right-back has had another impressive campaign, registering 16 goal contributions in the Bundesliga following last season’s standout tally of 26 in the club’s unbeaten run under Xabi Alonso.
Liverpool fans are convinced the Frimpong could be Anfield-bound after footage resurfaced of him in high spirits alongside Virgil van Dijk during the most recent Netherlands international break. Whether that bond continues into a Liverpool dressing room, however, remains to be seen.

Man City and Man United could rival Liverpool for Frimpong signing
Lemmert’s Manchester location tag has also triggered talk that City or United may attempt to hijack any potential deal.
Football Insider revealed that Manchester City showed interest in Frimpong during the January transfer window as a possible long-term replacement for Kyle Walker.
Meanwhile, Man United supporters have voiced their desire to see Frimpong join the club, particularly given reports of a £29 million release clause.
Whether all three Premier League giants go head-to-head for the Dutchman remains uncertain — but with Alexander-Arnold set to depart, Liverpool’s move for a new right-back looks inevitable.
