Joao Felix posts update at new destination after ‘Chelsea exit decision’
Joao Felix had a message for Chelsea fans from afar as speculation over his future continues to grow.
Felix has endured a difficult second spell with the Blues, having been loaned out to AC Milan just six months after returning to Stamford Bridge.
The 26-year-old struggled to cement a place in the starting line-up, with Enzo Maresca preferring Cole Palmer operating behind Nicolas Jackson, with the latter leading the line.
But his stint in Italy did little to boost his reputation, and Felix faced criticism from Chelsea fans after it emerged AC Milan would not be making his move permanent.
Football Insider revealed that Chelsea have made the decision to offload Felix permanently this summer, with Maresca said to be unconvinced by the Portuguese international’s displays.
Despite the uncertainty, Felix shared an update on his whereabouts as Chelsea continue their Club World Cup campaign.

Joao Felix shares holiday update amid Chelsea exit speculation
Felix was spotted in the United States earlier this week while Chelsea continue their Club World Cup campaign in America — but the forward was notably absent from the squad and did not attend to support his teammates.
His new update has shown that he has since travelled to Japan, sharing an update from Tokyo on social media, captioned simply with the Japanese flag emoji.

While Felix is expected to leave Chelsea this summer, the club are still hoping to recoup a significant portion of the £44.5million they invested to bring him in last year, though that may prove a challenge given his recent struggles.

Chelsea step up striker search as Felix and Nkunku face uncertain futures
Despite Chelsea recently securing Liam Delap from Ipswich, with the forward already making a strong impression, the club remain in the market for another forward.
Football Insider revealed that Chelsea are determined to bring in a new striker this summer, with both Felix and Christopher Nkunku expected to move on.
Both players have struggled to cement regular starting roles since joining the club, and if Chelsea can offload the pair, it would pave the way for further additions to bolster the forward line.
