Kamara’s new Rangers contract tipped to include release clause – Mills
Glen Kamara will sign a new Rangers contract if it includes a release clause, according to Danny Mills.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Leeds United and England defender insisted Kamara holds all the cards in negotiations over a potential new deal.
Football Insider revealed Arsenal made a move to re-sign the midfielder during the summer and Ibrox sources have updated to tell Football Insider that contract talks with Rangers are ongoing.

It comes amid uncertainty over his long-term future with his current contract set to expire in the summer of 2023.
Steven Gerrard revealed, via BBC Sport, on August 6 the club had presented Kamara a “really strong, good offer”.
As quoted by the Scotsman while on international duty (September 7), the 25-year-old confirmed talks have taken place but refused to be drawn on whether he will commit his future to the club.
“If you’re an agent or a sensible person, you wack a release clause in, and that’s what could happen here,” Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“If they want you to sign a new contract, you’re in the box seat. You get to choose what goes into that contract, effectively.
“You get to say to them ‘Ok, I will sign this new contract, but I want x, y and z’. If they don’t put it in you can say ‘Ok, I won’t sign it then’.
“It comes down to that game of poker.”

Kamara moved to Ibrox for a bargain £50,000 fee from Dundee in January 2019.
This site revealed at the beginning of March the Gers valued the Finland international at £10million after he shone in the Europa League last term.
