Karim Adeyemi’s January price tag revealed amid Man United interest
Manchester United will have to pay £60million to sign Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund in the January transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.
Adeyemi has been linked with a move to Man United, amid rumours that he is unsettled at the German club.
The 23-year-old’s Dortmund contract runs until the summer of 2027, but talks over a new deal have stalled.
Sources say that it will still be difficult for Ruben Amorim to sign the German in January though, due to his high asking price.

Man United could wait until summer
While Adeyemi is valued at £60m currently, his asking price is likely to drop next summer, and Man United could take advantage.
By then he will have just one year left on his contract, meaning that Dortmund would most likely cash in if they received a suitable offer.
Joshua Zirkzee has been linked with a Man United exit in January, due to the lack of game time he is getting currently.
However, the Red Devils could decide to keep Zirkzee until the end of the season and then sign Adeyemi for a lower price.
Man United assess midfielder options
Meanwhile, Man United are assessing a number of big-name midfielders as they aim to strengthen their squad during the January transfer window.
The likes of Adam Wharton, Elliot Anderson and Carlos Baleba are all on Amorim’s shortlist.

However, the Red Devils are unlikely to be able to land their top targets in the mid-season window.
Instead, they could be made to wait until the summer to make a move and get a deal over the line.
