Kvaratskhelia to Liverpool: Giants in ‘pole position’ to agree deal – O’Rourke

Paris Saint-Germain are in pole position to sign Liverpool and Man United target Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, sources have told Football Insider.

Antonio Conte has confirmed the Georgia international, 23, wants to leave Napoli this month.

Kvaratskhelia is a long-term target for Liverpool, while Man United are also eyeing a move – but they will find it hard to seal a deal this month for financial reasons.

It is believed he is keen on a PSG move and the French giants are in advanced talks to sign the winger.

Liverpool and United may have left it too late to secure the Georgian’s signature – with the Reds reluctant to meet Napoli’s valuation this month.

Kvaratskhelia is a top target for PSG after his two-and-a-half-year stint in southern Italy.

He has hit five goals and notched three assists in 19 games across all competitions this season.

The 23-year-old primarily plays on the left wing but has also featured as an attacking midfielder in the 2024-25 campaign.

The former Lokomotiv Moscow star is under contract in Naples until June 2027.
