LACK OF MANAGERIAL EXPERIENCE
The biggest issue is the lack of managerial experience that Gerrard has. You can’t just go from managing a youth team at Liverpool to managing a club with very high expectations like Rangers.
The culture shock will be far too much for him, and if he cut his teeth at a smaller club first then had some success it would perhaps be a good idea for him to be given the Gers job.
For now though, it is far too soon to even contemplate him managing such a huge club as the Gers at this moment in time.
